Snow, why are you so intricately made and so beautiful to watch falling from the sky, to see you decorating the plants, trees and fields, yet so dangerous for our feet to walk upon?

The Mothers’ Union now has members in 83 countries across the world, all working tirelessly serving communities with various projects and programmes whilst offering Christian care for families regardless of their faith and background.

Gambia West Africa: There are some 125 members of Mothers’ Union in Gambia bringing Evangelism and social responsibility to the people. Nurseries and schools have also been set up. Let us stand united with our sisters in the Mothers’ Union, and pray the MU prayer together.

St Brigid helped many people during her lifetime. On February 1st 525 she died of natural causes. Her body was initially kept to the right of the high altar of Kildare Cathedral in a tomb “adorned with gems and precious stones and crowns of gold and silver".
