I feel sure I can speak for all of us when I say how saddened we are at the news of the devastating carnage which occurred in France last Friday. So much dreadful news virtually on our own doorstep is even more chilling for us all.
Therefore, I felt it only right and fitting to contact the French branch of the Mothers’ Union to send them our thoughts, prayers and best wishes. If you go to the European section of the Mothers’ Union here http://muenterprises.org/europe/branches/ you will find all the different branches of the MU in Europe, the contact in France is Sylvia Robinson, so I took the liberty of writing to Sylvia on behalf of us all.
‘Dear Sylvia, just to let you all know that we are thinking of the people of France, praying for you and hoping that with God’s help you will soon find peace again in your country. Sent on behalf of all the members who belong to the Mothers' Union in the Chelmsford Diocese in England. Joan x’
The branch of the MU in France appears to be centred at the ‘Chaplaincy of Christ the Good Shepherd’ and you can visit the church website here:: http://church-in-france.com/
