Chelmsford Wave of Prayer

18th-20th June: Chelmsford Diocese Wave of Prayer - The Wave of Prayer is a daily act of reflection, thanksgiving and intercessions, shared together with Members of the Mothers Union around the world.

Here in Chelmsford we have five Wave of Prayer link diocese: Rejaf, South Sudan – Military Episcopate, Kenya – Doko, Nigeria – Owo, Nigeria. Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, West Indies. Chelmsford: Lord, we pray for Mothers’ Union members here in Chelmsford diocese giving thanks for the projects that we have been able to support throughout the year… South Sudan: Lord, we pray for Mothers’ Union members in Rajaf, South Sudan, and hold them in our hearts. Military Episcopate: We bring before you the Mothers’ Union members of the Military Episcopate in Kenya. Due to their husbands being away on active service, the wives have to maintain family life. Doko & Owo, Nigeria: We bring before you the Mothers’ Union members of Doko and Owo diocese in Nigeria and pray that they will know they remain in our prayers whilst we continue to try to make contact. Jamaica and the Cayman Islands: Lord, we bring before you the families affected by gang violence and the work that the Mothers’ Union is doing there.
