I really enjoyed Monday afternoon just sitting out in the sun-filled garden at Pleshey retreat house. I chose to sit in the shade of a beautiful tree listening to the birds singing. Mary Leach.
Rene Damery: It is with much regret that I publish the death of Rene whose funeral took place on 10th July 2017. Rene was very much a people's person and had been very active in the life the MU at St Edward's Church in Romford, Essex. and will be missed by her many friends.
Judith Meaden come along to St Edward's Church in Romford, to hand out long service certificates to no fewer than twenty-one of our MU members, the certificates ranged from 25 to 63 years and altogether, Judith gave out certificates totalling 842 years. Rosalie Taylor
Bishop John Wraw:Â With the sad passing of Bishop John Wraw on 25th July 2017 - Please remember in your prayers his wife Gillian and his family. He will be sadly missed by all.
Saint Augustine founded a new diose and built a monastery and church at the site where the Canterbury Cathedral now stands. Augustine also established episcopal dioses in London and Rochester
