Easter Blessings

Happy Easter to all Chelmsford Mothers’ Union Members: I am delighted to let you know that we have available the Monthly Newsletter from our MU President Maxine Paul and a special Easter Greeting from Sheran Harper, A.A. Mothers’ Union World Wide President. Both greetings are long so I have just given you a taste of their words below, and you can download both of these letters at the bottom of the page… Happy Easter.

Easter Greetings from Sheran Harper: My Dear Friends. It is Easter once again and I am delighted to greet you and your loved ones with warm Christian love. This is a very significant season for us all, as it is a celebration of special encounters with the risen Christ; special moments of experiencing the joy of his living presence and peace; and the confidence and sure hope of things to come. I believe this is even more significant and profound for us as Christians and members especially when coming out of the wilderness journey of Lent, through the pain and suffering on Good Friday, and finally into the marvellous light of Easter.

April Newsletter: Thoughts from your President, Maxine Paul: I think one of the least exciting aspects of my role as Diocesan President is that I am a co-opted member of Diocesan Synod. It is, however, proving to be extremely interesting both from the point of view of gaining an insight into the way the Diocese is moving forward, so we can keep in step, but also, to provide an opportunity for me to give a Mothers’ Union perspective to discussions.
