We have just received the latest IMPC Newsletter from Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, it seems that as the summer progresses, they are having to brace themselves for the hurricane season, as they have been warned of strong storms. Our sisters in the Mothers’ Union there are being advised to stocking up on food, water and medication. Through their latest newsletter they are also being advised to take precautions should an earthquake occur. Many of earths problems are being blamed on the careless and the greedy and following the Environmental Awareness Week, that was held from June the 4-10th the people were challenged to learn more things about the environment, and in so doing select an action to help make their area cleaner and safer. Something perhaps we could all do, not just in one specific week but all the time. So, I must thank Lucy Bubb for sharing this lates news with all of us, and perhaps we can spare a few minutes to pray for all those people living in Jamaican and the Cayman Islands as they brace themselves for their hurricane season…
