Summer of Hope campaign 2023

Summer of Hope campaign 2023

This year, our prayers, are again needed for people, wherever they live in the world whether they are experiencing the tragedy and trauma from conflict, violence or natural disasters or just struggling with the everyday stresses of modern-day life. This summer, our focus is turning Hope into Action, giving us the chance to pray together hoping to bring healing to those in need. Do consider holding your own Summer of Hope event - even if you are a small branch, you could have an afternoon-tea amongst yourselves and invite a couple of friends or people from your community to join you. Larger groups can organise a quiz night or just a general get-together with drinks, nibbles, and a raffle. Here in the UK, the cost-of-living crisis is adding tremendous strain for families already struggling. Mothers’ Union helps parents and children facing adversity to have a much-needed break away together. Do whatever you can to help raise funds, for every bit of fellowship or prayer can be uplifting and every little donation helps.
