The President’s Challenge for 2023 is to use the prayer and information in the Diocesan letter received in May, as creatively as you can. Remembering the three Re-Imagining MU pledges of: Engaging with your clergy to broaden the awareness of MU, travelling well together with them in their parish role and thanking them for the support they give: Supporting your local and diocesan projects: Looking at the Metamorphosis Bite-size to help us to get closer to God and our communities. The Transformation-Now! Prayer
Gracious God, we put our trust in you. Give us open hearts and minds to discern your perfect direction for our Mothers’ Union:
Affirm us in your love that we may be bold to seek your face.
Unite us in heart and mind that we may move forward with gladness.
Inspire us in our faith that all things are possible with God.
Transform us into a people empowered by your Spirit, overflowing with hope,
to effectively serve our communities. Amen
