Pom, poms galore!
On 29th July 2023, Upshire Mothers' Union branch held a Coffee Morning to raise money in support of the Summer of Hope Appeal. We had all been busy making cakes for the event. A couple of our members, made many more cakes to enable us to have a cake stall alongside our Bring and Buy stall, Raffle, Pom Poms for sale (inspired by the Hope appeal to make a pom pom) and a Mothers Union info table. It was a successful morning, with around 40 visitors popping in to support the appeal, helping us make approx. £190.
